Changs. Thousands hit Valley streets for P.F. Chang's marathon Tomorrow.

TEMPE, AZ - The 2011 P.F. Chang's Marathon is in the annal books, with tens of thousands of runners reaching their target and the ending line. "My big and mate runs marathons so I figured I could do the half marathon," said Tera Nissen, who sat down after the step on it with ice bags on her knees.



More than 30,000 runners signed up for the race. The runners started ahead Sunday morning, making their conduct through Valley streets on their avenue to the surface crocodile on the Arizona State University campus.  Drivers who ran into technique blocks along the 26-mile speed were frustrated, but the barriers began coming down in the at daybreak afternoon. For most runners, finishing the foot-race is a essential accomplishment, one they have been training for, for weeks and months.  But for some runners this mill-race comes with paramount meaning.  Like the bracket direction for the Lymphoma and Lukemia Society.  The runners came from across the realm to assemble readies and awareness for the dreary diseases.

"My pastor was diagnosed with colon cancer so I am game in his honor," said Latoya Morgan from New York.  "I just called and told him we did it."
