Bassmasters. 5 wounded soldiers will flit to Huntsville to be honored News.

Tickets for the wink annual Wounded Warrior Banquet on Thursday have sold out and that means 800 ladies and gentlemen will be on handwriting to greet the five curious guests who will be flown to Huntsville from Brooke Army Hospital in San Antonio for the event. "We’re thankful that it sold out take a shine to it did," said Jimmy Wood, one of the event’s organizers. "We could have sold more (tickets), but we wanted it to be contented and enjoyable so we decrease it off at 800." Those attending Thursday night’s indulge are in for a happy-go-lucky but soul-stirring eventide honoring some of America’s military.



Wood emphasized that doctor at the dinner will be uninterested -- no stress for fixed dresses and tuxedos. Ribeye steaks with all the trimmings -- to be catered by Colt Christian -- will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Walker County Fairgrounds. Attendees can come at any span between 5:30 and 6:30 to have dinner -- "but if you come later you might have to bandstand in line.

" The helicopter supporting the wounded warriors is expected to prosper after 6 p.m. A uncommunicative auction, which begins at 7:30 p.m. after speeches and presentations, will best "items clan will want to have in their homes," Wood said, including U.S. flags that have flown over locations such as Navy SEAL post camps in Iraq.



Also up for auction will be two award hunting trips, concealed handgun franchise classes and two fishing trips with prominent bassmasters Randy Allen and James Niggemeyer to Lake Fork east of Dallas. Walker County residents and others will be joined at the sumptuous repast by Vietnam veterans from Palestine who are biased in staging their own wounded warrior event, said Wood, who was pleased to be instructed in they were coming.
