Suit filed against Equinox over dive Latest news.

BENNINGTON -- An Arlington combine has filed a lawsuit against the proprietor of the Equinox resort, claiming it is open for injuries one of them suffered in a 2008 fall. The gripe was filed April 18 in Bennington Superior Court Civil Division by Donald Goodrich, of the Bennington corpus juris set on Donovan & O’Connor, LLP, on behalf of Mary Keelan Shaughnessy and her groom Edward Shaughnessy. HEI Hospitality, LLC, a proprietorship registered in Delaware, is listed as the defendant in the case, and according to the grievance owned the Equinox in 2008. The kick alleges that the Shaughnessys were at the Marsh Tavern, which is scrap of the Equinox, on July 4, 2008, when Mary Keelan Shaughnessy went up a staircase important to the backer floor.



Shaughnessy claims the stairs were not well lit and were constructed in such a frame that they were of unequal height, with molding protruding over the head riser. Shaughnessy alleges that her foot caught on one of the risers and she fell, piercing her red shin. The slight didn’t renew until December 2008, according to Shaughnessy, and she was diagnosed with infections requiring weekly treatments. She was fist with a scar, according to the complaint, and incurred medical expenses, ruin to supremacy of life, in counting up to both manifest and theoretical spasm and anguish.
