Appetites on Main to moot Pancreatic Cancer awareness Morning.

Every September, Appetites on Main honors one of their founders, David Weinstein, and strives to instruct the community about pancreatic cancer. This year, the restaurant will manageress the 3rd Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday, September 17th from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m at Appetites on Main, 286 Main Street, Exton.



David Weinstein founded Appetite's Delight in Wayne, the Big Easy Saloon in Paoli and Appetites on Main in Exton with his son Brad Weinstein. This at a high missed fellow of the restaurant community passed away on September 20, 2008 after a year prolonged crusade with pancreatic cancer. Each year since, his family, friends and community members have joined together to honor Davidís living with sizeable comestibles and drink.

All proceeds from the sweep and ten percent of each dash will go for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN). During the 2nd Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day, Appetites on Main raised over $3,600 for PCAN. PanCAN is a country-wide systematization that conducts research, unswerving support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure.



Part of the proceeds also go toward Purplestride Philadelphia, a 5k advance and roam on November 5th. This years spring, Appetites on Main held a leniency golf spin for PCAN and will be hosting another occurrence this October.
