My wife, Glenda, says I have a "Save the World" complex. In all honesty, I must reveal that I shady she is right. It seems that for most of my vitality I have had this internal distress to be all things to all people, and to get on one and all else's needs as my own. Unfortunately, or c a better command is realistically, none of us can be all things to all people, and none of us can clarify all the problems of the world.
One who tries to be "Manager of the Universe" may have a few successes, but failure and frustration will be the more frequent outcome, no moment how stately the intent. I have been working for years to pickle myself of my "Save the World" complex, but erstwhile habits are cruel to break. I have been making a wilful effort to adopt a original approach when it comes to my need to be there for others.
I surrendered my entitle of "Manager of the Universe." I knew that there were clan out there desirous to take my place. I am trusty these brave people were more praiseworthy and capable of fulfilling the demands of the assignment than I was.
I wait hopeful in seeing the positive results of their efforts to spare the world.
