It's not 4000 it's between 25,000 to 40,000 Brazilians here on the island. Most are favourable multitude & straight workers. The complication is they turn money they make back to Brazil which takes away from the adjoining economy here.
Each shaft office now has at least 1 Portuguese speaking staff member to deal w/ the many Brazilians who don't carefulness to get it English (a dire point here on the island). Another bountiful problem is they take up housing making it more refractory for islanders, college kids & other summer workers to halt here. Bottom forte is that the Brazilian denizens dramatically increased 7-8 years ago because of mingy employers here on the isle & word-of-mouth in Brazil. There is a whacking imbalance here rt now but things will established themselves naturally. Brazil's compactness is booming & more workers will gain home.
In the past, the employ force was primarily islander based & college kids along w/ a nourishing match of foreign workers from all over the world. The key will be balanced again.
