Larry Borello, 65, of Washington, died Sunday, June 7, 2009, in UPMC-Shadyside hospital, Pittsburgh, following a want and daring campaign with pancreatic cancer. He was born December 16, 1943, in Houston, a son of the ex- Homer G. and Lucy A. Zemaitis Borello. Mr. Borello was a steelworker for 38 years and had been employed by Jessop Steel Co., later Allegheny Ludlum.
He was a colleague of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Washington. Mr. Borello served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1964 in the North Atlantic and in Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis and then later in his service occupation at Walter Reed Medical Center.
He enjoyed working outdoors, feeding chaotic animals and the comradeship of his three boxers, Augie, Roland and Tyson. He also loved spending spell with his grandchildren and caring for other forefathers members. On May 20, 1967, he married Joyce Kopko, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Aaron (Kari) Borello and Vincent (Jodi) Borello, both of Washington; a brother, James V. (Lynn) Borello of Vacaville, Calif.; a sister, Debbie (Patrick) Guyton of Eighty Four; two grandsons, Emilio Blaise and Antonio Vincent Borello; nieces and nephews Jeffrey and Matt Borello and Patrick Jr., Michael and Brian Borello and Jennifer Yeckel; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was born December 2, 1926, in Washington, a son of James Everett and Mabel Roupe Kelley. Mr. Kelley retired from V-Bat Plastics in 1986.
Prior to that, he had worked in several town companies, including Hazel Atlas 2, Washington Penn Plastics, Findlay Clay, Jeannette Glass and General Concrete. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the European Theater as an anti-tank gun crewman, 14th Infantry-71st Division, earning the Army Occupational Medal and World War II Victory Medal. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 927, the Polish Club and Pulaski Club. He was a bounce member of American Legion Post 907, Taylorstown. Additionally, Mr. Kelley was a longtime member of Friendship Community Church. Mr. Kelley enjoyed reading Western novels and sitting on his porch with a emotional cup of coffee on a summer lifetime watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks.

Wojtowicz Sr. Mr. Wojtowicz was employed by New Century Energy in McDonald and Burgettstown Borough. He was a U.S. Army trouper serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Wojtowicz was an avid tracker and fisherman.
On September 6, 1969, he married Sandra Lawson, who survives.
